I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Kait.

I’m the founder of Flōm, an interior design practice guided by the belief that our environments shape how we feel — emotionally, mentally, and physically.

My path to this work hasn’t been linear, but it’s always been rooted in people and place. I most recently worked as an executive in travel technology, focusing on partner success, where I learned how to listen deeply and build trust. Prior to that, I owned and operated an exterior design and construction business, giving me hands-on experience with how spaces are built, used, and lived in every day.

I studied International Development, specializing in Environment and Development, which fundamentally shaped how I see the world — and the role our surroundings play in our well-being. That perspective continues to inform everything I do.

Flōm grew from my own sensitivity to space. I’ve always noticed how design choices affect my mood, energy, and sense of calm, and I became deeply interested in how thoughtful, functional environments can support a more grounded way of living. I’m drawn to spaces that feel intentional and beautiful, but never overwhelming — spaces that quietly support the life happening within them.

I am currently studying Environmental Psychology, deepening my understanding of how space influences behaviour, emotion, and nervous system regulation.

When I work with clients, I lead with authenticity, presence, and shared understanding. I take the time to truly get to know both the person and the space, approaching each project with care, intuition, and respect. My role is not to impose a signature style, but to help uncover what will feel most supportive, easeful, and aligned — creating homes that feel considered, calming, and deeply personal.
